DOG INSIGHTS…
‘Play’ can mean many things - keep playing. One of the best ways to bond with your dog is to play games that you both enjoy. Play is a great stress reliever for both dog and human and can be a much needed means of mental stimulation for our canine companions.
In the interest of public safety and as advocates for our own dogs, we must be more respectful of the dogs living amongst us – their needs and their fears. In much the same way as people are selective, our dogs do not like every other dog or person that they meet. They have good days and bad days, strengths and weaknesses, and unique preferences. It is important to know your dog and to know that you can work with a trainer to fine-tune the skills that your dog struggles with.
TRAINING PACKAGES & RATES…
SINGLE CONSULTATION - $95 -
Sometimes a little extra information and problem solving can go a long way. A single session with a trainer can provide a wealth of expertise, guidance and instruction for handlers that are looking for answers to common behavioral problems or additional information on various K-9 issues.
"RIGHT TRACK" PUPPY PROGRAM
(AGES 8 WEEKS TO 5 MONTHS) - $365 -
With an emphasis on implementing a thorough and effective socialization program, this is an informative and integral part of creating a well-balanced puppy. This is a fantastic way to ensure that handlers are well equipped for a new addition to their family and provides the tools necessary to make the puppy stage a positive experience for both dogs and guardians. The focus is on teaching bite inhibition (gentle jaws), socialization with other dogs and people (especially children, men and strangers), calming and handling, attention, off-leash household manners/obedience and the prevention of behavior and temperament problems. Treats are advocated as an efficacious means of implementing classical conditioning to better teach dogs to thoroughly enjoy the company of other dogs and people. Food treats play an effective role throughout this process but special attention is paid to phasing out reliance on food lures in the interest of developing reliable verbal control, hand signals and off-leash control.

4 SESSION PACKAGE - $330 - 
After completing an initial consultation to properly address concerns & appropriate goal setting, this package follows with 4 in-home sessions designed specifically for you and your dog.
10 SESSION PACKAGE - $785 -
After completing an initial consultation to properly address concerns and appropriate goal setting, this package includes 10 in-home sessions specifically designed for you and your dog.
BOARD & TRAIN - PLEASE CALL FOR PRICING -
Whether you have a dog in need of basic training, more intensive training or are simply looking for a way to enrich the life of your dog while you’re away, this program is tailored to the needs and training goals of each particular owner and their dog. Boarding in this capacity includes one-on-one training, exercise, play and enrichment on a daily basis. Please contact Maureen to request an application and discuss pricing as cost will vary depending on length of stay. Space is limited and dogs must meet certain criteria to qualify.
